This project reimagines Airbnb’s core experience for landscape mode, focusing on moments where users naturally rotate their devices - browsing at home, checking trip details on the go, or multitasking alongside other widescreen content. The goal was to create a layout that feels native to Airbnb while taking advantage of the wider format to improve clarity, navigation, and how users explore listings.
The design centres on clearer hierarchies, a left-to-right interaction flow, and an image-led structure that lets users compare and evaluate listings without breaking context. Technically, I rebuilt the interface using modular content zones, dynamic panels for filters and inputs, and motion patterns that maintain orientation and focus. The result is a glanceable, responsive system that enhances usability and fully utilises the strengths of the mobile landscape format.
